Having Dr Shaheed is a gamble that Mohamed Nasheed should not take as sooner or later he will get stabbed in the back by this shroud political leech

The MDP and President Nasheed might have saved their Foreign Minister’s ass from the No confidence vote even if it means that they have used about one third of what is left of the deficient budget to do so. Saving this man’s ass, one that can change colours faster than an octopus; is it worth the sacrifice; is the big question?
In political terms it might look like a victory to the novice President and his inexperienced party MDP; one they have got over the main opposition. But the vote of no confidence against Dr Shaheed (against their better judgment) is not perpetrated or manifested by the main opposition. That is something the MDP and President Nasheed need to realise sooner than later. The vote if anything, was manifested and perpetrated by the Maldivian people. It was a direct calling that came from the people.
Pressured from the mainstream Maldives population; disillusioned by the decisions that this nightmare of a Foreign Minister was taking, the main opposition has to act. The Maldivian people wanted to see Shaheed gone from the job of maintaining our Foreign Relations particularly after the Israel episode.
It is advisable for President Nasheed to employ him as his Personal Advisor, Secretary to the President, but he should not keep this Minister in charge of Foreign Relations for long. Because that will be a disaster the MDP cannot afford.
On the one hand the President even though he thinks that he has scored a few points with the main opposition by keeping him, is losing the strategic popular support of the Maldivian people he desperately needs. One year is already gone and, before long his five years will be up. Even if he somehow manages to stay for these five years, Dr Shaheed should not be a part of it. The sight of Dr Shaheed his wayward methods of practising Foreign Relations will be a constant thorn at President Nasheed’s side, which then will have a poisonous twist that will destroy the President when the time come..
Overtime people will see him side by side with him, and it will be a reminder of a man who has disrespected, Islam, the plight of the Palestinian people, and other arrogant things he is engaging in, remarks he is making to undermine the Maldivian people etc. When the time come he will emerge as the perfect victim.
The President should not be celebrating this vote. In fact he should seriously think about the nearly ninety percent of the Maldivian people that took part in the poll held by DhiFm asking whether he should stay or he should go and opted for; he should go. Because, sooner than he think the victim of such a poll will be him, and Dr Shaheed will be there to endorse that poll, with all fingers pointed at him.
The case of this Foreign Minister is not a war between the main opposition and Mohamed Nasheed and his MDP government. This battle has started between his Presidency, his Party and the Maldivian People. The main opposition just tried to represent the interests of the Maldivian People. However the President undermined the people and saved this hell of a master minder to dig his own grave sooner than he think.
This Foreign Minister, the longer he stayed in the position, the faster the President will loose credibility. He will be a reminder of all the things ant-Islamic. Furthermore it will help him to put constant boiling water and rapid fire on the regime of MDP and President Nasheed. The President foolishly opened our wounds healed from the colonial days, by describing his love for Foreigners from the free free West. Therefore when the time come to point the finger this man Dr Shaheed can easily pass the President and MDP as the only culprits.
How long the President can function by disregarding the Maldivian people is limited. He should see the signs. When he and his Party celebrated one year of their rule a day ago, all we saw was just a handful of yellow T-shirts. Where are all the people that gathered a year ago to welcome him and his Party MDP’s governance gone? It has been reduced to a couple of yellow shirts, that also within just one year.
The few people that make the Parliament can be bought, pushed or jerked around when you are in power. But even if you are in power no President, no party will be able to push people around when they get the chance to speak, and have their say. The Parliament elections taken just a few months after the President and his Party came to power is an indication of how fast the dynamics of our attitudes change, people power change. In the face of bribery, threats, warfare, the People still failed the regime of MDP, months into power and said no to the majority the President and his regime wanted in the Parliament.
The road that he is taking, since than has not changed a bit, always contradicting the people, and hitting them where it hurts the most. By the time his five years’ is up or circumstances arise where the people gets the chance to speak, this Foreign Minister will be his and his governments breaking not their making.
We all know that this Foreign Minister is in charge of an NGO belonging to the Jewish Billionaire George Soros and that its function is to replace governments with pro Jewish cronies. In fact Foreign Minister Shaheed is the patron of their branch in Maldives. We also know that during his diplomatic days he has acquired rich Jewish Friends from Europe, believe it or not, some of them are from the Labour Party the current Party governing United Kingdom and the number one enemy of the President’s British Conservative sisters. Also, Dr Shaheed is a close friend to Labour Bigwigs such as Foreign Minister David Miliband with Jewish roots.
As the one in charge of the NGO Open Society in Maldives, belonging to Jewish Billionaire George Soros, whose only goal is to spread the Jewish Agenda in the world, he will transform so suddenly the MDP and President Nasheed will not stand a chance.
This Foreign Minister is duping the President and his party MDP while portraying that he is doing a favour for the President himself. Dr Shaheed is a shroud Politician who is manipulating the novice President and his MDP, in order to pave his path and ambition to become the President in 2013.
This government of MDP and Nasheed is getting stabbed in the back and are losing their popularity over a man who is a selfish ambitious leech with an agenda for himself. When the time comes he will stage-manage everything only for his advantage and only to the plight of President Nasheed and his MDP government and by God he will have stories to tell. Come 2013 he will manipulate everything and twist every incident, every story, and stab President Nasheed and MDP in the back so hard they will be send to the doldrums and out of existence.
